Question:
I have a 2009 Hyundai Sante Fe 235/60/R18 Front Wheel Drive. Can I use the PWH2829SCs? Will need tire chains for one trip per year into Lake Tahoe. Thank you.

You will first want to check your owners manual or with the Hyundai dealer to determine if you can use snow tire chains on your 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe, or if there are any limitations.
Many newer vehicles require SAE Class S chains which mean the chain can be no larger than 15mm for side wall clearance on the vehicle. The sidewall clearance is needed so that the snow chains will clear any part of the vehicle that is close to the inner and outer sidewall of the tire. Most of the newer vehicles with larger tires recommend Class S snow chains because of limited tire clearance.
The Glacier V-Bar Snow Tire Chains, part # TC2229CAM, that you have referenced will fit a 235/60R18 tire, but it is not a Class S chain because of the 20mm clearance. It is designed for light truck applications.
If you can use snow tire chains on your Santa Fe, and they need to be a Class S chain, I would recommend the Titan Square-Link Snow Tire Chains, part # TC2319. These snow chains are a Class S chain and use the square-link chain design.
You will also want to use the Glacier Rubber Adjusters, part # PW100, to keep the snow chains tight on your vehicle.
I am including a link to a FAQ page on snow tire chain information.
