Draw-Tite Receiver Location Relative to Rear Bumper of 2009 Hyundai Elantra

Question:

need to see how far from bumper the hitch protrudes past bumper on an 09 elantra touring so I can get the size receiver i would like to order with hitch,thanks

I do have some information for you but unfortunately we haven't had the chance to install the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24844 on a 2009 Hyundai Elantra so we don't have a video for you that shows the where the receiver sits in relation to the bumper.

Aside from the linked installation instructions I went out to the warehouse and found that from the rearmost mounting hole to the end of the receiver opening measured about 10". The center of the hitch pin hole is further back about 2" so that means that measurement is reduced to 8" if that is what you were needing. I have attached a photo to demonstrate these measurements for you.
