Question:
I have a 2004 Ford F350 Crew 4x4 diesel with full bed size . Tire size 265 75 16 all Terrains. We have So Rocky Mntn property that is at 8500ft level with 5 miles of rock road n mud with steep inclines. The last 2 miles are basically rock and rutted. If it rains,,u need to be in 4x4 mode. During the summer I pull 4-6000lbs of logs n equip on this road during rains with just the all terrians and it is not fun. I would appreciate your recommendations for chains that will be good on mud n rock during the summer and for snow/iceunplowed during winter conditions. I dont plan to tow on this road in the winter,,,but the need may arise sometime. Generally I would not plan on needing chains more than 4 times a year. Your recommendation is appreciated

For your 2004 Ford F350 with 265/75-16 tires, I recommend the Pewag All Square Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners - Square Link - Reversible - 1 Pair # PWE2228SC. These chains will work well for you in the mud and snow. They are reversible so you can even out the wear of the chains and they have the integrated cam tighteners so you will always have the chains tight.
These chains are made from very strong manganese nickel alloy steel to resist rust and offer traction year after year. The ladder pattern is ideal for the mud, rock, and ruts you experience. I think you will be extremely happy with the quality and durability of these chains. The chains come with a tool, but you may also want to consider the T-Shaped Cam Tightening Wrench for Titan Chain Light Truck Snow Tire Chains # TCTH2 for easy adjustment.
