The Installation Kit for Go Power 12V or 24V Inverters # 342GPDCKIT2 has a T-fuse that is needed because it serves as protection for the connection made between the battery and 12V Inverters # 34280175, # 34280176 and # 34279948 as well as 24V Inverter # 34279951. This fuse is needed as a way to protect the inverter from direct overcurrent protection.
I have added a link to a video review of this kit as well as the aforementioned Go Power Inverters.
