Question:
As they supposed to had running lights? Should they stay lit when Im not using my signals or brakes? These only come on when I use brakes/indicators or flashers. They do not stay lit when Im just driving. If turned lights in the manual in position as well as auto. In drive or not, they only work when told to do something like left/right blinker. Are they supposed to had running lights?

The Hopkins LED Magnetic Tow Lights # C6304 will provide running light, turn signal and brake light functions, all of which are supported by their 4-pole flat type wiring scheme.
Running light signals are carried on the brown wire in 4-pole wiring. If you are not getting that function on the lights you can check that the four batteries in each light are all good and that the pin on your vehicle 4-pole does not have any corrosion on it that could be blocking the signal.
If you have a circuit tester like # PTW2992 you can check your wiring that is connected to the lights to make sure the running light signal is there as it should be. The linked video shows how to use it. Testing is easier if you have a helper on hand to work the lights for you while you apply the tester.
Connect the tester ground to your vehicle 4-pole ground and then apply the probe to the pin for the brown running light wire to test for the signal there. If it is not there then that would explain why the signal is not reaching the lights. You will then need to troubleshooting the 4-pole installation. An article to help you is linked.
