I do have an option for you, however the TorkLift Hidden Power Under-Vehicle Battery Mount # TLA7729 you referenced is only designed to mount to the underside of certain model year Ford Vans. It has not been tested with your 2001 Ford F-150 and there is a good chance there won't be enough space along the frame rail to mount the unit.
There is not a custom under-vehicle battery mount available for your truck but you can take a look at the more universal design of the NOCO Battery Box # 329-HM318BKS. This UV-resistant, heavy-duty box can simply be mounted in your truck bed with the included strap or hardware.
I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
