I have older Yakima 1A towers with locks marked 17 I am looking for a replacement key for this older lock. all four towers are marked 17. Thank you for your time.

Your Yakima 1A tower lock cores are too old for replacement keys. I reached out to my tech contact at Yakima and the most cost efficient option for the upgrade is to use the Replacement Hardware Bag for Yakima 1A Raingutter Towers # Y8810136 and then use the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores (QTY 4) # Y07204 which will come with two keys.

Your only other option is to call a local locksmith to have them make a key compatible with your old lock cores.
