Question:

I am looking for a hitch to fit my 2014 VW Beetle Convertible TDI. My sticker shows a R in a circle after the TDI, I think this just means that TDI is a trademark but I noticed that your description says does not fit R line. What hitches do you have that will fit? Will be using to mount a bicycle rack on. Please help. Thanks!

Based on your window sticker you do not have an R-Line version of the 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible TDI. The easy way to tell though is the front grille of the vehicle. The R-Line has what looks like a three piece grille with a separate section under each head light and a larger center section and the non-R-Line has a single smaller grille opening on the front bumper.

So, for your vehicle I recommend the Curt hitch part # C11354 along with a required stabilizer strap # 18050 to use when carrying a non-supported load like a bike rack.
