Question:
I want to stamp vin numbers on a homemade trailer but I have to put it on the tongue and axle according to the form from my local dmv. Please help me locate the tongue and axle with pictures. Thanks

The trailer tongue is the portion of the trailer that extends out from the main body up to the coupler (which is what hooks up to the hitch ball on the tow vehicle). The axle is the tube that runs across the trailer that has the hub, wheel, and tire attached at each end.
I have attached a couple images to assist. Please just let me know if you have any more questions!
