Recommended Roof Rack and Bike Rack for a 2019 Hyundai Elantra

Question:

What Yakima roof rack do you recommend for a 2019 Elantra? I would like to quickly toss my bike on top of my car so I can get to the trail.

I recommend going with the JetStream roof rack for your 2019 Hyundai Elantra because it gives you lightweight aluminum crossbars that feature rubber strips that you don't have to cut when mounting accessories.

This roof rack consists of the 60" JetStream bars # Y00426, along with the BaseLine Towers # Y28TR, and the BaseClip Fit Kits # Y06160 and # Y06167. To add locks to this system you can use the SKS Lock Core Kit # Y07204.

If you don't already have a roof mount bike rack then I highly recommend the Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103 because it is a wheel mount carrier that allows you to keep the front wheel of your bike on so you can hit the trail as soon as you get to your destination.

Another great feature of this bike rack is the integrated knob that lets you easily adjust the arms for a secure fit to your bike. By using this bike rack along with the JetStream roof rack you can actually use the SKS Lock Core Kit # Y07206 instead so that you only need one key to lock your entire roof system.
