Question:
Will this fit new Honda 2200 generator? I will be attaching to a 17 Tacoma with a towing package and assume that is also ok?

Yes, the TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick # TLA7901 that you referenced will fit a Honda 2200 generator like you mentioned. We had the chance to fit one on this carrier and it worked well. See attached picture. It's also in the review video for this carrier that I attached as well.
