Thanks! So if you had both a paddle board and kayak, would the most versatile/Kosher solution be the DockGrip? My kayak is easy enough fro my to lift, so I don't need it to slide necessarily. Thanks again!

For your Thule truck rack aero bars, the Thule DockGlide # TH896 is better if you want to slide your kayak from the back and utilizes felt pads to protect your boat and ease loading. I've attached a video to assist. The contrast is the Thule DockGrip # TH895 which has rear feet that grip. This is helpful for Stand Up Paddleboard use as well. I've attached that video for you to see the contrast.
I recommend the Thule DockGlide for Kayak applications as the preferred easier product.
