Question:
Can you just put a fuel pump in the line to help with the flow rate?

Expert Reply:
DeeZee Connector Kit # DZ97960 is designed to make a gravity feed connection between an auxiliary diesel tank like # DZ91752X and your vehicle's diesel tank. This kit is not intended to connect the aux tank to your engine fuel line but to your standard diesel fuel tank.
There is no reason you could not add a suitable diesel fuel pump to the setup to speed up the flow from tank to tank, but since the auxiliary tank is usually much higher up than the vehicle tank the gravity flow usually handles fuel transfer without need for a pump.
