While both 30k 5th wheel hitches that fit the puck system of your 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500 have high-quality jaw systems, between the Curt PowerRide # C36WR and Demco UMS Double Pivot # DM47GV, the better jaw system is on the latter, the Demco UMS # DM47GV.

The reason why the Demco's jaw system is a notch above the Curt's interlocking jaw system is because the Demco's jaw system is reinforced via a 3/4" solid steel bar that locks into place once the jaw is closed.
