Recommended Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier for 2017 Jeep Wrangler Hard Top

Hello. I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler hard top and wanting a roof rack and good kayak carrier. Goodness there are a lot of options........ Can you recommend a setup for me? Thank you!

Absolutely!

For your 2017 Jeep Wrangler I recommend the Yakima JetStream Roof Rack System. This roof rack consists of a set of 50 inch JetStream Crossbars # Y00425 , the SkyLine Towers # Y53TR, and the Landing Pad 6 # Y00226.

This will provide you with a great looking roof rack with lightweight aluminum bars that will cut through the wind for a nice, quiet ride. The system features a 165 pound weight capacity and because Yakima actually installs their racks onto vehicles before confirming fitment you can be sure of a perfect and custom fit on your Jeep Wrangler.

For a kayak carrier that will work great with this roof rack I recommend looking at the Yakima JayLow # Y04073. These are J-style cradles that will allow you to safely transport 1 kayak with their foam-padded arms and base and the included load straps.
