how many square feet will this heater heat?

The Performance Tool Infrared Shop Heater - Wall or Ceiling Mount - 1500 Watt # PTW5008 is not rated to heat a specific cubic foot area. The manufacturer says that it warms the area only directly in front of it or under it and will keep you warm about 10 feet away from it. The warmth will lessen as you get further away or to the sides of the unit.
In general, a 1,500 watt heater offers an easy way to heat a small space. It generates that 1,500 watts of electricity per hour which produces 5,100 BTUs of heat. A rule of thumb is a unit needs to consume 10 watts of power per square foot of room being heated.
