The SAE two wire connect is sometimes a factory connection, but you can simply cut the connector and use butt connectors like # DW05744-5 for the LED Tail Light for Trailers Over 80" Wide - 7 Function - Submersible - 17 Diodes - Passenger # STL36RPG and driver side # STL37RPG if desired.
If you want the quick connect, then I recommend getting the 2 Wire Loop, 12" # 9651P and cutting the middle to give you the two quick connectors you need for that lighting kit to have the quick connects and pigtails on your trailer.
