Can Thule Hullavator be Used on Honda CR-V to Carry Elite Strait Touring Kayak

I bought my first kayak last summer Elie Strait 140 XE touring kayak, 14 foot and need a cartop carrier. For the THule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist... 1 Can you confirm: Is this only for one kayak? 2 Does this include the factory bars that run the vertical length of the car, for a Honda-CRV? 3 Which cross bar type do you recommend square, round or eliptical bars and why? 4 If I buy this from you I’m in Vermont, how should I get it installed on my car? The Thule Hullavator part # TH898 is a great choice for carrying a single kayak like your Elie Strait 140 XE touring kayak. This rack is designed for carrying on one kayak. This carrier requires you to also install a roof rack on your vehicle that has crossbars that run left to right and have a few inches of overhang past the feet of the rack. Sounds like you need a roof rack for your CR-V but since I do not know what year vehicle you have it's hard for me to make that recommendation. If you could get back to me with the year of your vehicle and the style of roof that you have I can pick you out the best roof rack solution we have.

I really like aero bar type roof racks as they create the least bit of wind noise and they look the best in my opinion.
