The first thing you want to do is check above the spare tire on your 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 for a wire loom and there may be a light blue wire that is the lead for your third brake light; you do need to verify this with the use of a circuit tester such as # PTW2992 or # PTW2993.
If that is not there you will simply need to add the Pacer Performance 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702 and tap into the turn signal circuits of your Sierra. This converter will separate your truck's combined turn signal/brake lights, which you will need to do, or your camper shell's brake light will blink along with your turn signal.
