Should the bike be in gear while hauling or in neutral?

When securing your Harley-Davidson with a B&W Biker Bar like the part # BWMC2301 you referenced it really doesn't matter if you have it in gear or in neutral. The bar keeps your bike stationary but if you want to keep it in gear that wouldn't hurt anything.
