For your 2018 Chevy Traverse I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118287 if you need a 7-Way connector or the Tekonsha # 118761 if you need a 4-Way connector.

These are both custom harnesses that will install by simply plugging into a factory port beneath the vehicle on the driver's side (see attached image). I recommend these over the Curt options that are also available for your Traverse because of Tekonsha's reputation for producing extremely reliable products. We also hear of far fewer troubleshooting issues with their harnesses than we do from any other manufacturer.
