my trailer boat and motor weigh approx 500lbs. is a b rated tire in 4.80 x 12 with 5 lugs sufficient?

Wheel and tire combos that are 4.80-12 Load Range B mounted on a 5 lug wheel like the part # AM30590 have a weight capacity of 785 lb per whee/tire. That means that with two of them you'd easily have more than enough capacity for your 500 lb trailer.
