The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles # C51180 is now available. We just had a training on them and did a little extra research on them yesterday because they are so new. They work well with the app and it is very easy to use. The nicest part is the ease of installation and not requiring any further wiring. If you have the 7-way with the 12v power, you are good to go.
The app is available on iOS and Android Stores as a free download to use with this controller. The necessary pin for pairing is located on the inside of the spring loaded cover, so I do recommend writing that down or capturing a photo for your phone if that is how you keep track of things and removing that sticker so no one can take and use your controller. I recommend storing it in your glove box or console when not in use.
