im towing my chevy impala 2010 front wheel drive with a 2 wheel towing dolly. do i need to put my car in neutral?

I checked the online owner's manual for the 2010 Chevrolet Impala and on page 5-27 and 5-28 the preparation process to tow this car on a dolly like the Roadmaster # RM-2000-1 is outlined. Here is the complete procedure from the manual:

1. Attach the dolly to the tow vehicle following the dolly manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Drive the front wheels onto the dolly.
3. Shift the transmission to P (Park).
4. Firmly set the parking brake.
5. Use an adequate clamping device (an old tire's rubber inner tube works) designed for towing to ensure that the front wheels are locked into the straight position.
6. Secure the vehicle to the dolly following the manufacturer’s instructions.
7. Release the parking brake only after the vehicle being towed is firmly attached to the towing
vehicle.
8. Turn the ignition to LOCK/OFF and remove the key.
