Installing Maintenance Battery Charger for 2016 Ford F-350 with Dual Batteries

Question:

How would this be wired if wanting to maint the charge on my F350 dual battery system wherethe charger is left in place for multi-weeks? Basically, I am not sure if my F350 is set up with its 2 batteries in parrallel or in series? So not sure if it would require one set of alligator clips or two?

The CTEK MULTI US 7002 12-Volt Universal Battery Charger w/ Pulse Maintenance and Backup Power # CTEK56353 will work well for your 2016 Ford F-350 cab and chassis. You simply will want to make sure the one set of alligator clips is the correct location.

I've attached a photo to assist. If your batteries are wired in series you will connect the positive clip to one battery and the negative to the other. If they are factory installed, then they are in parallel and you will only need to connect the positive and negative clips to the same battery. The batteries are connected to each other so there is no need for a second charger or additional clips.
