I did some checking and the only way a 2017 Honda CR-V can be towed behind a motorhome is with a tow dolly like the Roadmaster # RM-2050-1 if the vehicle is front wheel drive. If it's all wheel drive only way is on a trailer.
Tow dolly towing is better in a few ways, you end up spending less money overall, less parts to install, no modifications to the vehicle, and it's easy to transfer to future vehicles unlike flat towing setups.
