The holder and the track are made to support that weight and will work well. This is designed for the professional that is outside in the heat and needs a cold drink so it is absolutely made for the weight and being used daily. It comes with a 1 year limited warranty.

Just going by the liquid weight of 8.34 lbs per gallon, that puts just the liquid at 41.7 lbs and then you add the container as well. The traditional Igloo 5 gallon cooler weighs just over 6-1/2 lbs from a quick search, so you are most likely looking at the holder supporting about 50-55 lbs with ice.
