Question:
My Escape Titanium has the automatic tailgate option swing foot underneath and tailgate opens. Does this feature still work after the hitch install?

The hands-free liftgate of your 2014 Ford Escape will still function with the etrailer.com hitch part # E98866 installed. You will have to kick your foot to either side of the hitch opening though.
