Question:
1 PROBLEM RE: clip-on trailer towing mirrors for 2017 Dodge Caravan with OEM factory mirrors 2 PROBLEM #1: Ordered part #7070, which your website said would fit above vehicle, but received part #11950 instead. It fits the above vehicle but had the following problem. 3 The towing mirror fit well on the right side OEM mirror and fairly well on the left side OEM mirror, and the straps were OK. 4 But the clips/tabs on the towing mirrors, which hold on to both the bottom and the top of the OEM mirrors, interfere with the movement/adjustment of both OEM mirrors. With the towing mirrors installed, the OEM mirrors cannot fully move/adjust because because the tops and/or bottoms of the glass in OEM mirrors hit the clips/tabs on the towing mirrors. 5 As a result, I plan to return the order unless you know of some solution work-around to this problem. 6 PROBLEM #2: Your website said that the K-Source Snap and Zap Towing Mirror #KS80720 would fit a 2017 Dodge Caravan with OEM factory mirrors. 7 Would this Snap and Zap Towing Mirror have the same problem I have with the clip-on trailer towing mirror? 8 Thank you in advance for any advice you may have for both of these problems.

The CIPA Universal Towing Mirror - Clip On - Qty 1 # 7070 is the same part as the manufacturer's number 19950. There is no discrepancy there, just a difference in how we reference the same part in our inventory. The adjustment issue isn't something I've heard of before, so you may want to try adjusting the location at which you attach the mirror. If that doesn't fix the issue to allow you to tow with the factory mirror location you desire, then returning the product does make sense.
The K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors - Snap On - Driver and Passenger Side # KS80720 are also confirmed to fit the 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan factory mirrors. The K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors - Snap On - Driver and Passenger Side # KS80720 do have the tabs, but they are located in a different location, and are a different size that appears to be a better fit for the mirror function as it is a custom fit not a universal fit mirror. This mirror is a better choice between the two for your vehicle.
