Can the E-Z Flex # K71-655-00 be Used for Axle with 31" Spacing Instead of 35" Spacing

Question:

will these work to replace my existing equalizer? It measures the same 7 3/4 inch eye to eye, but my axles are 31 inch apart center to center. Description states 35. Top eye center to bottom is 2 5/8 inch est. thank you.

Since the eye-to-eye measurement of your current equalizer is 7-3/4" just like the E-Z Flex # K71-655-00, and the height difference is only 1/4" you can use this kit. The 35" spacing is the standard spacing that Dexter Axle usually has for trailers that use this size equalizer. I spoke with my contact at Dexter Axle who said that as long as the equalizer matches like we mentioned then this is perfectly fine.
