Question:
Hi just ordered a replacement CH 502 for my Tractor Supply UWS truck tool box which i have mounted on my atv trailer. Ive never had a key for this lock, so while removing it, I didnt pay attention to the position of the latch, as it was already locked in the open position. What is the correct orientation / positon of the lock / tine for installation? Might you have a diagram? Thanks very much.

While I was unable to locate a diagram showing installation of the Replacement Lock Cylinder for UWS Toolboxes w Square Paddle Handles - CH502 # UWSLOCKCH502 I did add a photo that should be helpful.
The accompanying photo is of the Replacement Locking Paddle Handle for UWS Toolboxes # UWSLOCKING and it shows the cylinder when it is in the locked position. So when you install the cylinder you will want to ensure it is in that position so you can lock the handle.
