Question:
Do I connect one lead to the trailer hardness and the other to the frame of the trailer? Is polarity an issue to deal with?

On the Uni-Lite LED Clearance and Side Marker Light # MCL11RKB the black wire gets the 12 volt power source and the white wire goes to ground. The light would not work if you reversed the polarity.
