Question:
What landing gear motor would you recommend for an 11,000 pound 5th wheel converted to a goose neck? LC196308 or is there something stronger?

Expert Reply:
A heavy-duty landing gear motor such as the Lippert # LC196308 is not necessary unless you have LCI Power Landing Gear rated for 6,500 lbs. Instead I recommend Replacement Motor # LG-142178 because it can be used with most Stromberg Carlson, Lippert, Atwood or Venture models of landing gear and it is still rated for 5,500 lbs.
I've added links to video reviews of this landing gear for you to check out as well.
