Your 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid should be in park if it is a FWD vehicle when using a tow dolly like # RM-2050-1. You will load the front wheels, put the vehicle in park, put on the parking brake, connect the wheel nets and then release the parking brake prior to towing.

You will need to connect the wiring of the Roadmaster Tow Dolly using the Pollak # PK12706 to match your motorhome wiring.

I checked your owner's manual and this car can be flat towed if you prefer. Let me know if you want help with parts required to transport.

Does anyone know if the new 2020 Escape PHEV can be dolly towed?

The owners manual of the 2020 Ford Escape PHEV states that the vehicle cannot be towed on a tow dolly or flat towed. The only way that they say it can be towed is with 4 wheels off of the ground, on a trailer.
