The Lippert Turning Point pin box on your trailer means that you will need a fixed 5th wheel hitch for your 2018 Ford F-150. The Curt A16, # C16120, is a great option for you. This hitch is rated at 16,000 pounds, so it has plenty of capacity for the Grand Design 150 series of trailers. The dual jaw design is safe and secure and the cushioned head improves ride quality. For the best fit with your Turning Point pin box I also recommend using custom wedge # C16992.
For an installation kit I recommend the Reese custom kit # RP56034-53. This kit features longer rails that make it easier to install the kit making it the preferred installation kit that installs in less time and requires less drilling than universal or semi-custom kits.
You may also be interested in wiring kit # 50-97-410-010 which will provide you with a 7-Way in the truck bed making it easier to connect the trailer without the need of an extension. It just Tees in with a factory 7-Way.
And since you have a 1/2 ton truck I do recommend rear suspension enhancement. It isn't required equipment and you may want to wait to see how the rig tows before making a decision on suspension enhancement. But if you do decide more support is needed when towing I recommend the RoadActive Suspension # RAS3611-B for 2-wheel drive trucks (excludes Raptors). Or for 4x4s use # RAS3611-Y (does not fit regular cab models or Raptors). These systems come ready to install and will not affect unloaded ride quality like most other systems.
We also have a fine selection of air bags and jounce style options as well as other styles if you are interested. I have included a link to them for you. I have also included links to videos on the above recommended products.
