How to Determine if a 2010 Toyota Highlander has an OEM or Aftermarket Tow Package

How can one know if used 2010 Toyota Highlander has a original tow package installed or an after market tow package?

The only way to really know if your 2010 Toyota Highlander has the factory tow package or not is to contact your local Toyota dealer with your VIN and they can let you know.

Aside from that the only thing I could really find in searching online is that models with the tow package will have a 150 amp alternator. All of the hybrid models came standard with a tow package.
