Chevy/GMC Factory Puck Adapter for 6-1/2 Foot Bed Compatibility with Husky Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch

Question:

I just tried installing the 6194 in my 2019GMC 2500 with a 6.6 box. The pucks feet on the 6194 are round,but the pucks on the truck are not round. The center puck did work, but even when the lock was turned in, I did seem to have some movement with the whole plate. Also, hole I have you,will this work with the huskey 5th wheel. Thanks

The Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 6-1/2' Bed - 21K # DM6194 is a confirmed fit for your 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 with 6-1/2 foot box. The center connection will give you the towing you need and the 4 puck locations even though they don't lock in the pucks will minimize any excessive movement of the hitch.

This adapter will work well with a Husky 5th wheel hitch like the following:

The towing capacity will be limited by your truck, the 21K adapter, or the hitch capacity. The lesser capacity will be your max capacity.

I have a Husky 26,000 lb hitch and I’m getting a new GMC with the puck system in the bed. Is there a way to convert my hitch to mate up to the GMC system?

The Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 21K # DM6333 will work for your Husky hitch but it will limit your capacity to 21,000 lbs max. This is the only adapter we currently carry that is compatible with the GMC pucks and your Husky hitch.
