Replacement Motor for Ventline Range Hood PR-4

Question:

I have a 1994 mobile home that has a Ventline range hood. The motor is not working. It is a two speed unit with model PR-4 listed on the side of the unit. It is attached to an external, rotory swith that has the function off, light only, low speed with light, high speed with light. Is this the proper motor? Is it hard to replace? Will I need a new blade?

Yes! The Replacement Fan Motor for Ventline Range Hoods part # BVD0278-00 is correct for your Ventline Range Hood PR-4. I was able to confirm this with my contact at Ventline. The replacement process is super easy according to our customers. There are splines on the output shaft for the fan, two nuts that hold the motor in place, and then three wires. You don't need a new blade unless the one you have is damaged.
