2017 Toyota Prius Prime Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Recommendation

Question:

I am planning to buy two kayaks, but need to be able to transport with my 2017 Prius Prime. Trying to create a budget and see what my options are.

We have great roof rack and kayak carrier solutions for your 2017 Toyota Prius Prime. The Thule roof racks like the part numbers # TH711400, # TH710501, and # TH145029 for an aero bar roof rack would be a great option. Since you have a Prius and you are most likely interested in fuel mileage I'd recommend going with the aero bar option since it will give you better fuel mileage.

The Thule Stacker part # TH830 is a great way to carry 2 kayaks on end with one carrier. Or we have the JayLow # Y04073 that can carry a single kayak as J-style carrier or two similar to the Stacker. I like the Hull a Port since it can fold down when not in use too which help with mileage as well.
