Brake Controller Adapter to Install Redarc Tow-Pro Elite in a 1998 Ford F-150
Published 09/26/2018 >
Question:
Several other models I was researching shows a harness that plugs from the controller to an existing prebuilt harness that is located beneath the vehicle dash on a 1998 Ford F150. Is there a harness available or an plug that can be added to the wire harness of this unit so the existing plug beneath the dash can be used ?

Yes there is. The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite, part # RED44FR, can be wired to the # 3035-S adapter which is then plugged into the factory connector under the dashboard of your 1998 Ford F-150.
The adapter and the Redarc controller both use the standard black, white, red, and blue wire colors and connect color to color to make the install easier.
