Question:

This part came up as what I need in your directory for my 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid but in the description it says excludes hybrid. Can you please confirm that part # E98857 will fit the existing holes on my 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid? Thank you.

Our fit guide splits up the hitches for your 2006 Toyota Highlander into two categories: those that are confirmed to fit the Hybrid model and those that aren't. The etrailer.com hitch, part # E98857, fits both the Hybrids and non-Hybrids so it shows up under both categories which can be kind of confusing sometimes. Rest assured, it does fit your Hybrid Highlander.

If you're going to be towing with your Highlander you also need a wiring harness. Part # 118248 fits if you have the tow package. If not then instead use part # C59236. I've linked the install details of both for you.

Then you need a ball mount to fit the 2 inch etrailer.com hitch. I've linked our selection for you. You need to determine the correct rise or drop you need with your trailer.
