Can you tell us where the trailer brake connects under the dash using the correct adaptor a photo would help. Also is the P2 plug and play. No flashing required I hope. Thanks

To install the excellent Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 on your 2019 Ram 1500 you just need the Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3024-P. The factory brake controller port should be located underneath the dash, above and in front of the accelerator pedal. I have attached an image of its location along with an installation video on the 2017 Ram (skip ahead to the 2:00 mark). The process should be the same for your 2019 model.
This is a direct plug-and-play installation. One end of the adapter harness will plug into the brake controller itself and the other end will connect to the factory plug. You will not need to get your 2019 Ram 1500 flashed after installing the brake controller.
