Spring Seat Recommendation for Dexter 5k Axle

10 K dexter axles are welded to mount springs under the axle. Is there any reason i couldnt mount under the springs. Thanks

Dexter axles like your 10k axles have a bow to them that "opens" down so that when a load is put on the trailer the axle is more or less totally flat. You can't flip the axles over as that would make the bow face the wrong direction and your wheel camber would be terrible. You can just install new spring seats on the side you need like you mentioned.
For a spring seat for a 5 inch axle like what you have you'd want the part # 3-66.
