How can you release the breakaway accuator? We pulled forward while it was connected and it set Any help would be great Thanks

Are you referring to the breakaway or lockout on the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator part # DM8509612? If you are referring to the breakaway then there is a lever on the top of the coupler which has two positions, one for brakes on (red) and one for brakes off (green). If you are referring to the lockout then this unit does not come with a lockout mechanism. Therefore, in order reverse the trailer without having the brakes lock up you would need to either use free-backing brakes or a manual lockout part # DM5939.

If you would like to add free free-backing brakes instead of the manual lockout then please let me know what brake mounting flange you have and the size of your brakes using the drum (see photo).
