Question:

Good morning, I have an existing 2 round bar system mounted on my pickup topper. I have purchased a 2017 Ford Transit T250 low roof 130 inch WB. I would like to move the yakima towers and round bars to the van, but I need the channel to attach to the pre drilled and tapped fixed mounting points. Is there such an item? Aluminum would be my preference. If not, what is my least expensive alternative to a low profile rhino system that will allow me to have a means to look at all their accessories. Unfortunately an alumines system is to expensive for my budget. Thanks Rich

I do have an option for you, however Yakima does not offer any roof rack accessories such as the needed channels that are confirmed to fit your new 2017 Ford Transit T250.

The most economical option available for a roof rack that will fit the Ford Transit while also allowing use of just about any roof mounted accessory is with the Rhino Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack. This system consists of # RRVA180B-2 for the two 71 inch Aero Crossbars, # RRRLTPFC-2 for the Legs that will attach to the fixed mounting points on the Transit's roof, and # RRVA-FK1-2 for the RLTP Leg Adapters. This will provide you with a low-profile roof rack that features a 165 pound weight capacity.
