Troubleshooting Two Dashes on Curt TriFlex Brake Controller

Question:

I getting 2 dashes on my display, and ideas what these are. I have never seen these before and the brake is not engaging.

The two dashes you are seeing on your Curt TriFlex # C24VV brake controller indicates a wiring issue, either with the power or ground wires.

Take a look at the wiring going from the brake controller to your battery - both the black wire going to the positive post and the white ground going to the negative post and ensure there are no damaged wires or issues with your circuit breakers and this should remedy the issue.
