The rear bar of the Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07707 is technically removable but it's not easily removable. Like you wouldn't easily be able to take the rear bar off and on if that's your goal. You'd have to take the upright assembly apart as well.
For a similar ladder rack that allows the rear bar to be removed which is a confirmed fit for your 2010 Chevy Silverado you'd want the Thule TracRac Ladder Rack part # TH43002XT-000EX for if you have an 8 foot bed, or part # TH43002XT-501EX for if you have a 6-1/2 foot bed. If you have a 5-1/2 foot bed then part # TH43002XT-608EX.
