How to Insert Wires Into a Trailer Connector
Published 08/21/2018 >
Question:
what is the best way to connect the wires to the pk11501? When I push the wire through the hole and tighten the screw it cuts the wire. Tried soldering the tip of the wire then it wont fit in the hole or bend to exit the housing.

Once you remove about 1/4" of the jacket from the wire you will want to twist the strains together to form a stronger bond and then insert that into the Pollak 5-Pole Round Pin Trailer Wiring Connector part # PK11501 and tighten down the screw. This will not only prevent then strains for being cut but will also help prevent jumping circuits.
