If Tailgate of Truck is Locked is BakFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover Also Locked

Question:
Does this cover, the BakFlip MX4, have the ability to be locked? I ask because it can be opened with the tailgate closed

Actually the only way to open the BakFlip MX4 is if you have the tailgate open. If you check out the picture I attached you'll see the release cable and that it's under the cover and only accessible with tailgate open.
