Question:
I have a 2014 VW TDI Jetta SW and a Curt 11072 receiver hitch that came off my 2011 Jetta SW TDI. But your web site indicates the correct model would be the Curt 11474. The VW dealership tells me theres no difference between the 2011 and the 2014 models re: the hitch install and thought the 11072 should work just fine. Can you confirm the comparability of the 11072 with my 2014 TDI Jetta? - Thanks for your assistance!

Expert Reply:
The Curt hitch part # C11474 that you referenced actually replaced the part number 11072 that you mentioned, but it will not fit the TDI version of the SportWagen.
That said the only hitch we have confirmed as a fit for the TDI model of a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen TDI is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 306-X7284. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.
